Automotive Art Donates to Special Olympics

In late 2015 the departments of the Delisle Walwyn Group of Companies were issued a challenge by management to identify a community oriented group or charity for each of their departments to assist.

The team at Automotive Art chose to donate much-needed funds to the Special Olympics Committee to aid with the purchase of trophies for their Unified Football Competition.

It was indeed a pleasure for members of the Automotive Art Team to attend a brief hand over ceremony at the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School to present a cheque for EC$1,500 to the officials of the Special Olympics Committee. Mr. Evris Huggins, Manager of Automotive Art, expressed his gratitude to the Special Olympics Committee for their tireless efforts in ensuring that every child has the opportunity to develop and express themselves through sport and athletics and to be exposed to friendly competition nationally, regionally and internationally.

Other Charities that benefited from this initiative through support received from the other departments in the Delisle Walwyn Group include:

  1. The St Kitts and Nevis Association of Persons with Disabilities
  2. The Scouts Association of St Kitts and Nevis
  3. The St Christopher Children’s Home
  4. The 12th St Kitts Girls Guides Association
  5. The New Horizons Juvenile Rehabilitation Center
  6. The Special Education Unit - Nevis
